Request Trial Plates
Last updated: October 2026
Quick answer: Tell us your platesetter or imager model, ink system and plate size — we send trial plates from current production so you can test on your own press. You cover freight only.
Switching plate suppliers blind once cost you press downtime — that is exactly what trial plates exist to prevent. And if freight on samples feels expensive, weigh it against one failed production run: it is the cheapest insurance in plate buying.
How trial plates work
- Test the plate on your own press first: send your equipment model, ink type and plate size by email (Easypressgroup@gmail.com) or WhatsApp. Unsure of the grade? We recommend one based on your workflow.
- We ship trial plates cut to your size, from the same production line as regular orders — a trial is not a sales formality; it is the real qualification step.
- You run them on your press with your own ink and paper; we review dot gain, density and run length with you.
- If the trial passes, your volume order repeats the same specification — no re-qualification.
What to send with your request
- Platesetter or imager model (a photo of the nameplate works).
- Ink system: conventional, UV/LED-UV, coldset; for flexo also the washout method you run.
- Plate size and gauge; a photo of a current plate answers both.
Buyers comparing grades may also want the background reading: CTP plate types, plate test protocol and the compatibility matrix.
Disclaimer: trial plates are provided for press testing; commercial terms for volume orders are confirmed in the quotation. Figures and descriptions are typical, for reference only, and not a guarantee.
